How to Add a Macro to the Design Binder. This is a great technique if your macro is intended to work for just this part or assembly. Also, the integration is easy and the macro will never get lost since it is contained in the Design Binder.

How to Add a Macro to the Graphics Area Toolbar. This allows quick access to macros that require a pre-selected component in an assembly prior to running. The Isolate macro is used as an example.

How to Add a Macro to the Heads-Up View Toolbar

These macros are intended to help you to quickly activate the different tabs in the Manager Pane if you are using SOLIDWORKS Cam Standard or Professional. They make it easy to bounce between the Feature Manager Design Tree (CAD) and the tabs associated with using SOLIDWORKS Cam (CAM).

Toggle the width of the Feature Manager Tree to become SW standard width or much wider to include the SWCAM Tabs.

Pre-Select one or more components in an assembly and execute the macro. The components will become isolated. The advantages of this macro is that you can place it on the Graphics Area menu (which pops up when you left mouse button select a component). This is merely a convenience, but makes a huge difference if you are constantly isolating components. Use the included icon bitmap to place it on the Graphics Area Pop-Up menu.

This macro toggles the exploded view state of the active assembly configuration. If no exploded view exists, then no action is performed. If an exploded view does exist; the macro detects if it is in an exploded state, and if so, the macro will collapse the view. If the macro detects the view is in a collapsed state, the macro will explode the view. For assembly documents only. If more than one exploded view exists per configuration, this macro will only interact with the first exploded view. Use the bitmap and place the macro on the S-Key of the SW GUI.

Macro saves all configurations as separate files. There is a possibility specify prefix-name and name directory for saving and watch saving progress.
